Scavenger Hunt a Big Success!
October 11th, 2011 by Katy McCoy

by Wendie Dyson

Approximately 30 teams and 75 hunters joined the Greater Tri-Area Scavenger Hunt last Saturday from as far away as Port Angeles and Brinnon. Enthusiasm was high, costumes were great, and people came back hoping there will be another hunt next year.  It just may have the makings of an annual event!

With that in mind, we’d love your feedback on the hunt.

  1. Are you interested in participating again next year?
  2. If not, why not? If so, what made the hunt successful and worth doing from your perspective?
  3. How could we make it more successful next year?
  4. Feedback on the planning, communication and organizing. What worked well? What would work better?

The hunt has the potential to become a successful annual event. This year’s hunt was paid for by a one-time grant from the Women Who Care Giving Circle. In order for the hunt to continue, another organizer or team of organizers will need to step up. Please let me know if you’d be interested in helping or taking a lead role.

I hope to set up a debriefing meeting within the next two weeks to share feedback on the hunt and explore how it could become an annual event. If you’re interested in joining me in this meeting, please let me know.

Thanks again for your participation, prizes, and help with promotion. If you haven’t seen the photos yet, there is an album plus wonderful participant photos posted on our facebook page.

May the games continue!
