Corner Now Taking Thanksgiving Orders

It’s that time of year again — time to get your turkey and local Thanksgiving veggie order in! Order forms are now available in the store and are downloadable here.  Relax, knowing that the best local organic vegetables and right-sized natural turkeys will be reserved for you.  This year the turkeys will be delivered to us fresh and will not require defrosting.  Get your order in before closing time, Sunday, Nov 17th, and tell us whether you want to pick up the 24th, 25th, or 26th.  The earlier you get your order in the better as there are a limited number of turkeys and the advance produce orders helps both the Corner and the farmers plan.

Each year we get a little better at this.  Three years ago we opened our doors for the first time the week before Thanksgiving.  Needless to say, there were zero turkeys to go with little of anything else.  Two years ago we failed to order the turkeys soon enough and the Food Co-op had to come to the rescue, sharing theirs with us (once again thanks Food Co-op!).  Last year we actually got the turkeys ordered on our own and all went well.  This year, we’re adding certified organic turkeys to the mix and are ordering more than ever to supply our growing customer base.

We will not be taking orders for baked goods, but check out our updated “PIE INFO” guide to see who all would love to cook something up for you.

And for this trajectory, we are thankful.  None of this would be possible without our loyal customers.  The Corner wishes you the very best as we enter the holiday season.
