See your community with new eyes and discover things you might never have known on a scavenger hunt. Your team will tackle tricky, humorous questions in a hunt to find objects and facts at farms, businesses and organizations throughout the greater Tri-Area. Hunters may be asked to shake hands with the goddess of Finnriver’s apple orchard, take a picture of someone dancing on the Grange dance floor or find the hidden rubbing of Paradise Theatre’s old tombstone.  No knowledge of any hunt location is required—you just need a sharp mind and a sense of adventure.  A smart phone will come in handy too, if you have one.

The hunt is completely free and family friendly.  Teams will be rewarded with fabulous prizes from our local community, including an overnight stay at The Resort at Port Ludlow with golfing, kayaking and a cooking class for two.  Check out our 4 GRAND PRIZES here!  In addition there are several SPECIALTY PRIZES.  And lastly there are special events and eating opportunities which we’ll list on the SPECIAL EVENTS page as details unfold.

How do I join the fun?

Find yourself a hunting partner and form a team.  Come up with the most “liked” team name and photo on our Facebook page the week before the event and you could win the first of many SPECIALTY PRIZES.

Pick up your scavenger hunt list and map at the Corner Garden on Saturday, October 8, 2011 starting at 10 am and begin your hunt to over a dozen destinations!  Teams that bicycle or carpool may enter to win SPECIALTY PRIZES.  The Chimacum Corner Garden is located at Hwy 19 and Center Road next to the Chimacum Corner Farmstand (directions).  The list and map will also be available to download from this webpage at 10 am if you choose to start from home.

Return to the Corner Garden with your completed Scavenger Hunt list and items and enter to win more prizes.  All prize entries must be received at the Corner Garden by 4 pm when the “treasure chest” will be pried and the loot divvied up.
